GAME: VALORANT Host: @CasualKori TOKEN: OTHER EVENT TOKEN ( 10 REP / HR ) To participate in this event beta access to the game is required! We'll be playing around 2 hours of Valorant either in costum lobbies or unrated groups depending on participants and preference. You're expected to arrive in the discord event channel on time, should you be to late you'll still be able to play with us but you'd have to expect to have to wait for a currently running game to finish and you'll miss out on your event token for the first hour. Leaving (to) early will also result in not getting your second ( or even first ) event token. Should you be late or leave early it's generally no big problem to me but be aware that tokens for certain hours of the event will not get issued to you if you do. Enough REP talk though we're all in for the fun of things anyways so I hope we'll have just that and pop some heads.

  10. I mean if you're a really commited team you might be able to outperform better rosters in comunication and/or strategy, but how much that's really going to help you when you straight up lose 80% of your aim battles due to skill gaps in individual talent is the other question. I am strictly talking shooter games here I know there is other games such as League of Legends or Rocket League but I'm really only involved in shooters so I'm specifically talking about those. Shooters are at the end of the day about tapping heads and quick reactions and if you fall behind in that department you're going to have a bad time. In games like League of Legends great team comunication and understanding of how to play the map can make up for individual skill differences quite nicely but even then who is to say that there aren't teams that are just straight up talented and communicate well together. If we have like 15 high level players ( I'm talking top of the line, not "yea I am kinda good" ) spread between rosters and one roster ends up holding lets say 3-4 of those alone they'll most likely wipe the floor with most of their "competition". Commitment is fine and dandy and really appreciated but commitment will not tap heads for you at the end of the day.
  11. Maybe a Teams tab similar to the Clubs tab ( maybe 2 tabs for EU/NA ) would be useful each entry could show: - current members + their skill tier - trainings schedule of the team - A team description / requirements to join And in order for entries to stay up they have to meet the minimum required amount of members (depending on game) within a certain period of time. You'd also need a way for teams to certify they're still an active team like once a week or every other week. Idk how well this would work it's just an idea.
  12. Fight Night & Thor's Challenge are described as "open to everyone, casual or comp" so I'd assume you're not required to reach any reliability level to participate. Those events however are considered competitive and comp tokens will be issued.
  13. I'd think you'd still be able to participate in tournaments open to all skill levels. This will most likely only effect your ability to participate in leagues and higher competition meant for the "top %" players and rosters.
  14. If you suddenly can't attend one event you RSVPed 48hrs in advance it'll only bring your reliability % down. If you attended 9 events you RSVPed 48+ hrs in advance and now miss one event because of unforseen circumstances you'll still be at 90% reliability ( and everything above 80% seems to be considered "fine" ). When you start missing a bunch of events is when it becomes a problem ( that's why you're encuraged to only RSVP 48 hrs in advance when you're sure you can make it. Events you don't RSVP to 48+ hrs in advance won't count towards your reliability %. ) When you start to miss 20%+ of the events you CHOOSE to RSVP to in advance you truly are unreliable, unforseen circumstances or not.
  15. The question really is whether or not DI is big enough to really dip into competitive play, because as it stands DI has ( in my experience so far ) ALOT of casual players and wannabe pros but very few actually talented esports level players. I fear that a DI exclusive Valhalla League will be straight up dominated by individual talent on certain rosters. On the other hand you could argue that this is a place for people with potencial to get practice and improve to make the next step. Also the average skilllevel won't be as high as the big established leagues with huge pricemoney on the line giving people on slightly lower skill levels the chance to enjoy playing in a competitive setting. I'd say we have to wait and see how things turn out for now.
